Rehearsing a choreography before the show – Vektor Berlin

If you want to be a designer and want to present your collection at fashion week there are tons of things you have to think about. One vitally important component is the cast of the models. As a designer you want to make sure that your garments are introduced to a pool of fashion experts, stylists, buyers and the media the best way possible, so you also need to think about a choreography for your models, meaning you need to rehearse on how they’re going to strutt down the runway when presenting your new designs.

As for the Berlin based designers from VEKTOR – I’ve introduced you to them in my previous article – it was no different. They too had to practice the procedure of the choreography a couple of times before their big show. At the end of the runway there were Kristina Puljan and Martin Eichler, the two designers, giving them instructions on how fast they should walk and to take bigger steps. One by one they all came out on the runway until they showed up as a group at the finale. Take a look!
